Implementation of the e-net network is occurring in multiple phases within two tracks, which will at times be running concurrently. The first track is the implementation of the EPM product. Health centers who have joined the e-net network have been slotted into four phases (listed below), with staggered implementation dates to accommodate their stage of readiness, as well as the preparation activities such as training. Currently, all Phase I centers are live with EPM, and all Phase II centers are scheduled to go live during 2010. Phase III and IV centers are tentatively scheduled to go live with EPM in 2011-2012.
Once a health center has implemented EPM, preparation can begin for the second track of
activity – the implementation of the EHR product. Again, health centers are slotted into phases. The Phase I and Phase II health centers are scheduled to go live with EHR in 2011, and the
Phase III and Phase IV health centers are scheduled to go live with EHR in 2012.
